OVI defense is a core part of this practice. In Ohio, choosing to drink or use cannabis does not make a person intoxicated under the law. Ingestion is not intoxication — and this office holds the State to that distinction at every stage.
The same rigor applies to felony defense. Every person is entitled to the presumption of innocence and a fair trial. It is the State's burden to prove the charges beyond a reasonable doubt, and it is this office's duty to ensure due process.
